Me? Cooking? For real?

For  someone who only cooks around 50 times in one’s wholelife, it is absolutely strange that I am cooking now. First of all, I don’t like cooking… the cleaning part. But like a meteor which hit earth every few dynasty, the sudden thought of eating out every single day struck me as scary. I want to live long, to be able to play my games everyday and watch and read anime manga with good eyes and ears when I’m in my 90s. So, that is it. I am going to cook. But what? For those who knows me, can guess in a milisecond. Of course… japanese food. So, made my trip to Meidi-ya last weekend and stock up my fridge with Japanese ingredients. Then to Kinokuniya and got myself 2 Japanese cookbooks. Good, I am good to go. My first sushi attempt was not too shabby. My grill salmon though, was unexpectedly very good. I will keep this up and hopefully can help me cut the fat and the cost.

Lily Allen and …. Hellsing?

I am listening to Lily Allen’s album now. I love track #8 “Littlest Things”, which is also the one I happened to listen to on MTV channel and in turn, made me went to buy her CD. The strangest thing is that, the theme is very much like one of Hellsing’s album. Unless it is a common theme, it is eeriiely close. But I still love it… is it because of its closenest to Hellsing?

Yay..!?? Christmas presents for me.

Ok, I am glad that I got all these presents, they are everything that I want: games,  manga, CDs, IT gadgets. But then sadden because they are all purchased by me! myself! What a crazy spending spree I had “done it” to myself. I got 4 XBOX360 games: Conan, Rainbow Six Las Vegas, Blue Dragon & Mass Effect. Been playing Conan and RSLV now, after a 2-week break. Got myself 3 J-POP CDs: Porno Graffiti, L’arc en Ciel & Kokuburo. Also Lily Allen and Annie Lennox CDs. Furthermore, I also bought Claymore v10, 3 Crayon Shin-Chan, and Genshiken final vol manga. Well, at least I know I will keep myself happily busy this Christmas holiday!

Killing time with PS2

While still waiting to get my XBOX360 replacement, I’ve been playing PS2 games. Finished Spartan for 2 times, and now playing Simpson’s Hit and Run. Ini short, just killing time with my old PS2 games. This weekend I’ll go have my XBOX360 replaced and hopefully can start playing Mass Effect.
