Now playing… GH Aerosmith

Too frustrated to continue with “Alone in the Dark”, I play Guitar Heroes Aerosmith. It is just like the GH3, except for much fewer song list and downgraded difficulty. The expert level for Aerosmith is in par with the Hard level for GH3, which is fine for me and hopefully more players can feel easier to ease into the gameplay. However the fewer song list is such a bump for the price . On the bright side, the song “All the young dudes” is worth (for me) to buy the game.

Now listening… Within Temptation, Eri Takenaka

If you browse or use internet a lot, you’ll bump into many things that you like but don’t realize it’s there. I can’t even remember how I get to it, but recently I bumped into 2 different website mentioning Within Temptation and Eri Takenaka. Then I jumped to amazon.com for the music clips and I am hooked to both. Within Temptation CD costs me a lot because of import, but it’s ok because they are good. At first you’ll probably thought it is Evanescense because both sounded so much alike. At this point, I won’t say which group I like better and for now I enjoy both groups. As for Eri Takenaka, listening to only few minutes of her latest singles is enough to make me go and search for the CD.

3 Movies straights

Last Saturday, I went to Comic convention with 3 friends. What a let down, no one anime related booth or anything. We left early and after a good meal at Carl’s Jr, CMin and I watch 3 movies straight: Wanted, Shaolin Girl, Get Smart. BTW, Kou Shibasaki acts in Shaolin Girl. I enjoy her album “Back Best” a lot. Now listening to her “Singles Best” but I still like the “Back Best” better.

Now playing… Alone in the Dark

When I watched the preview on Gamespot, the game seems so cool with new innovations. It is still full of new way of playing games, but it’s overall a bad game… all because of the controller. I am so frustrated with it and many of the chapters I just skipped due to frustration. Gosh, I am need to hurry up and pick up Guitar Heroes Aerosmith soon to change game.

Good read… Shogun

I am still reading “Shogun” by James Clavell. By the time I look at the page number, I am at page 437, which is not even half way, but I don’t even feel it. This is because the book is very good and it flows. I remember previously when I read Harry Potter books, I kept glancing at the page number unconsiously hoping it to end. Not this one! Because of this book, my next book will be by…. (surprise?) James Clavell, “Gaijin”.
