Now reading… Claymore

At first glance, I was not sure about this manga. Well, since I had some time, I decided to read the first chapter. And since then, I finished up to vol.10 in 3 days. Yes, it is that good, for me anyway. This is action horror with lots of blood and body parts and of course claymores. Many cool characters and story that keeps you looking for the next chapter. A definite :)

Quoted from Animenewsnetwork: “Plot Summary: In a world where monsters called Yoma prey on humans and live among them in disguise, humanity’s only hope is a new breed of warrior known as Claymores–silver-eyed girls who have willingly become half monster to destroy the predators. But the more the Claymores call on their supernatural strength, the closer they come to losing their human sides forever.”

Now watching… Music Station Ep.9

This week’s line up:

1. Yui singing “Cherry” = Nice song but ok for the singing part. She’s still young, hopefully can improve over the years. She is like Suga Shikao, always playing the guitar while singing.

2. Dreams Come True singing “Osaka Lovers” = Old style song with out of tune singing… bad!

3. News = I’ll give this groupie a little credit for showing each capability and good a capella in the beginning

4. Angela Aki singing “Sakurairo” = she sounds just like the CD, meaning… good. She is also seems like a very humble person

5. ayaka & Kobukuro singing “Winding Road” = Best of the show! Good performance. Despite her age, ayaka sounds very solid. She even overwhem the other 2 :)

6. Yuzu singing “Haruka Kaze” = don’t like the song nor the out of tune singing

7. Tamaki Nami singing “Cross Season” = ok. I can’t believe she just celebrated her graduation (she is 18)!

Now playing… Ghost Recon 2 [XBOX360]

Ghost Recon 2 [XBOX360]

I like the first installment so much that I go and buy the second installment. Finish the game in one day, and somehow feels that the first one is more challenging. Although the second one has better environment. I like both a lot, and will keep playing them for a while. Since I like this game, maybe I should get the Rainbow Six Las Vegas? But I heard it’s first person instead of third.

Now watching… Music Station Ep.8

Another show with a punch, with big stars.

This episode’s line-up:

1. Mihimaru GT singing the theme song from Doraemon Movie. And both of them had small part (seiyuu) in the movie.

2. Hamasaki Ayumi promoting her A Best Black & White albums, singing “Part of Me”. Watching her twice at the shows, shows that she has sense of humor.

3. Hirai Ken… so many appearance in this show!

4. Crystal Kay singing the ending song from Nodame Cantabile. And she’s just celebrated her 21st birthday! My goodness, 21!!!!

5. Funky Monkey Babys… what’s this group doing here, again? And singing the same song? Next!

6. Utada Hikaru singing “Flavor of Life”. She forgot to turn on the mic in the beginning :)

7. Johnny Jr Kis-My-Ft II… Ok, this is weird, first the name, then singing groupie dancing on rollerblades? Please-Give-Me-A-Break!

Except the two, I enjoyed this episode. Can’t wait for the next one.

Now watching… Spiderman 3 [Cinema]

After a short excursion to Sentosa (I’ll remember to wear shorts & sandals next time), I watched Spiderman 3 on its premier day. Continuing the story from previous 2 movies, besides dealing with MJ, Spiderman has to deal with more villains. There is Green Goblin Jr., Sandman, his inner-self (black Spidey) and one more! Yes, the trailers and previews have hidden this last villain and it is a pretty well-known villain from the comics. Overall, the movie is good, like the previous 2, but at some moments, it feels a bit draggy and I just want to see more actions.
