Now watching… Minami-ke
I find myself watching anime more frequently now. After finishing “Sketchbook”, I am watching “Minami-ke” now. I finished the 1st season yesterday and will continue to “Okawari” season tonight. This show reminds me of “Ichigo Mashimaro” + “Azumanga Daioh”. It’s a daily (+ school) life theme which is fun to watch.

Added to my anime Honor List
It’s been a while since I like new anime these few years. But recently I am glad to add 2 new(er) anime in my Honor List, or in short, I like them very much! First one is “Soul Eater”, I love it the from the very first minutes of the first episode. Second one is “Sketchbook ~full color~”, some will say it is boring, maybe so, because nothing much happening. But, what make me add this one to the list is because the company of the cats in there! Who can resist Mike, Haa-san, Kuma, Grey, and even Inuo? They are totally cute.

Harry Potter… done!
I am not sure how many people out there who slowly own complete set of Harry Potter books (all 7) over the years butĀ never read them, until the last book was out and start reading the complete set continuously. Well, I know there is one person, myself. Yes, last Saturday, I finish my long run of complete Harry Potter books for the first time. I was a good read, not extraordinary, but good. Will I re-read them again? Not quite too sure, maybe in 20 years…

Watching now… Claymore
I like and own Claymore manga. But just recently I started to watch the anime. It is exactly like the manga, so nothing much special. Well, until I heard the many familiar voices. Ok, I am able to recognize few seiyuu, especially those veteran who were prolific around a decade ago. So, when Pricillia appears and speaks… that is no mistake Hisakawa Aya! But, I don’t really check into it because I thought all these veterans had (semi) retired. Then came JeanĀ and Galatea and I also recognize them as Mitsuishi Kotono and Orisaka Ai. This is it! I can’t continue to wonder anymore when all these familiar voices from so long ago keep appearing. Checking the animenewsnetwork, I hit all 3 correctly, and to my surprise there are more veteran seiyuu in this anime. Especially Inoue Kikuko, who voiced Miria. My goodness, what happened to her usual high pitch good “sister” sound? She has such a low deep voice here as Miria. I only recognize her usual high-pitch voice. Another surprise, the main character, Claire, is voiced by Kuwashima Houko, who is also a veteran but I admin I can’t recognize her voice all along. Anyway, this is a good surprise that many of them all get back together in this anime. Is it because of the mature theme that they need mature seiyuu and not those usual cutesy high pitched seiyuu? In summary, I am glad that they still hire these veterans and they fit the roles very well. Ganbare minna san!

Life updates…
Still playing GTA4, it is overall a great game but I won’t give it a perfect score of 10 like gamespot does. My only complain is the camera movement, it’s not perfect and smooth and I gotten myself killed most of the time because of this.
Still reading both last book of Harry Potter and Grotesque.
Still watching anime now and then with Gintama, Soul Eater and misc.
Still listening to J-Pop.
Still cooking.
Hmm… looks like not an updates at all because it is more or less the same things
