Guitar Hero 3 or Rock Band?

I am reserving a copy of Guitar Hero 3. But after reading more about Rock Band, I think I am gonna get Rock Band instead. Main reason being that I always wanted to play bass and drum. But Rock Band is not yet released here and I heard they are all sold out in the US? When am I going to get it? I don’t mind buying online, but they don’t ship this version with kits internationally. Man… it really suck when you are in the “hurry up… and wait” mood.

The Attack of Red Ring of Death

Many XBOX360 owner will understand what is Red Ring of Death. Yes, I am the latest victim. I read it many times and now I am actually experiencing it. What a bummer, when I am about to play “Mass Effect”. Now I have to wait until Dec 12th to get a replacement. Guess, I have to play PS2 games for now.

Triple BOOs!!! for being in Singapore

As a hardcore gamer, I give SUPER LOUSY TRIPLE BOOS for being stuck in Singapore.

First, God of War 2 was banned for… what? 2 seconds of nudes scene? Come on, look at the artistic part! Even a underage nowadays know where to get hardcore adult theme stuff off internet.

Second, The Darkness was banned for… violent and some other thing. Oh please, I can see a much violent things in TV, news, and movies. Geez.

Third, Mass Effect was banned for lesbian scene… What century are we in now? BTW, this is discrimination.

It is time like this that I wish I still stay in the US and not coming here to Singapore.

I don’t believe games can influence the way you think. Of course it will if you don’t have that “taught” or “learnt” and imprinted in your brain. If you’re being educated properly that stealing is a crime and you have that imprinted in your brain, playing stealing game will not make you go start stealing right? Unless, you live in jungle all this time, where you steal banana from monkeys daily. Then you play the same stealing game, then of course you will think stealing a pack of Nachos is ok too.

It is ALL in the mind of individual, if you’re rotten you are rotten and will do rotten things. Doesn’t matter you play videogames or not!

Now playing… Assassin’s Creed [XBOX360]

This one is a great… no make it the greatest game I’ve ever played. I like everything about it. To sum it up, it has the elements of Metal Gear Solid, Prince of Percia and Zelda. The environment is vast. The graphic is great. What can I say? Everything about it is great. Go get it!

Now playing… Call of Dury 4 [XBOX360]

Now playing Call of Duty 4…. for the third time… straight! Yes, it is that good. It it similar with the previous releases, but instead of WW2, it has modern war setup. The only complain? I wish there are more episodes. Superb game, I highly recommend it.

Now playing… Beautiful Katamari

Just bought Katamari for XBOX360. It is basically the same as its PS2 counterpart, but improved a lot in the “loading…” department. Actually, there is no loading pause at all for every stage. The travel between the princedome is a bit “tedious” but the dancing prince and cousins are loveable. I managed to create all the planets, including “something really big” but where’s uranus? Do I need to get certain high score to unlock this planet? It is tougher to get high points in this version. Arrgh… almost everytime get run down by billiard balls thrown by daddy when fail with the Seadome stage
