Now playing… P3 [PS2]
These few weeks ago, I didn’t seem to have commitment on playing one game to the finish for various reasons, spinning head, and more spinning head. Until P3 (Persona 3) which is rather good. I didn’t play the first 2 games and if they are this good, I will get them. I like the mini sims element in the game. The personas themselves are cool, but with hundreds of possible combinations, but only able to handle 8 at a time, it is a bit of “gallery” service. The voices are not too bad, except for the “mysterious boy” who sounded so much like Michael Jackson… *goosebump* I am going to be a perfectionist in this one, will try to get all the personas using the max S.link points. That means, it wiill take me a while to finish this game. But I don’t mind.

Head pounding game and head shooting game
It is confirmed the “Stranglehold” game gives me headache. Not sure if it’s because of the camera or because the game is bad. Right now, I think it is the first one. I can’t play this game for long, after a while, my head starts pounding and it’s time to switch to other game. I am playing Persona 3 [PS2] now and it is a better RPG game compared to my recent purchased (Wild Arms 5). You just can’t get enough of shooting you own head to trigger the Persona’s skills. Wicked cool!

Now watching… Paprika
Watched Paprika yesterday. It is the newest movie by Satoshi Kon, the director of “Perfect Blue” and “Tokyo Godfathers”. It is as weird as expected, but good as well. As soon as the main female character voiced her first sentence, I immediately recognize her as Hayashibara Megumi, a veteran. Checking the DVD cover showed that I am right. I guess she is still working as seiyuu. But I noticed that she only voiced in a serious character now, not those bouncy hyper character like she used to (Slayers, Nuku Nuku, Ranma, etc.).

Now playing… which one?
Finished with N3. A bit short, but hack and wack for sure relieved some stress. Now I can’t make up my mind on which one. Halo3? Continue Stranglehold? Persona 3? Viva Pinata? While considering this yesterday, I ended up pick up Dynasty Warriors 5, after finished reading Ikkitousen vol 12. I guess it is also not good when you have too many choices. Oh… not to forget that I will get my Katamari for X360 and Warrior Orochi soon! decision, decision…

N3 [XBOX360]
Good sign? I did not get nausea when playing N3 (Ninety Nine Nights) yesterday. Phew. This game is like Dynasty Warriors games, with its own “musou”. Hack away! When there are hundreds of goblins on the screen, along with your own bodyguards, it is hard to see who is who. All you can do is swing away your kickass weapon blindly. Good game when you want to play game but too lazy to think or when you want to exercise your right thumb.

Nauseous games
Not sure why but I have 2 nauseous games back to back. First it was Halo 3 then it was Stranglehold. Am I sane? Am I still ok? Somehow these games just gave me nausea. I am going to play a 3rd game tonight and see if it’s time I had my eyes/head check. It will be a really really bad sign if I can’t play anymore.

Scattered manga
Been having migraine these few days so can’t really play much videogames. Although managed to finish “Lost Planet” second time and played one chapter of “Stranglehold”. So, instead of moving video, I am opt for moving pages. Read several few chapters of manga recently: Sidooh, Team Medical Dragon, Air Gear, Dragon Head, and many more first chapters. A bit scattered, but I tried to find a good read. Also, re-read Claymore (again!) because it rocks!
