Laptop bags half-fish in Rock Band 2

First it was nail clipper, now it’s laptop bag
I am talking new (USA) Transportation Security Administration regulation on airport checkpoint. If you have ten thousand and one zipper on your current laptop bag, it is a good idea to change or you’ll be held up at the checkpoint for hours. Here is their new regulation.

What is it with the fish thing? Shachihoko vs Merlion

The Shachihoko (shown above on the tower roof ridge of Osaka Castle), a half-fish, half-dragon, was signs of the prestige and authority of the castle lord.

The Merlion (shown above), a half-fish, half-lion beast, is a fitting symbol of Singapore.

Both are mythical creatures which play a crucial symbolic part for both countries. I am just wondering, add in mermaid, why fish? There are many others half-creatures, but most of them are mythical and only told in story mostly. Am I right? Why fish play such important part?

“Rock Band 2″ Review by Wired.com
I don’t own or ever play “Rock Band” series before because, blame it on whoever decided not to release it in SEAsia version. I would have bought it if it does. I hope ”Guitar Heroes World Tour ” will be released here.

== PS. I’ll be away for about 2 weeks, so no posts during this time. ==
